Happening Now...

If you read our last post, you know that we are looking forward to moving to Ecuador in January, if our house sells by that time.  So what are we doing right now?  Well, here's a little look into our lives.

Dustin is still working at the bike shop.  He works full-time, and has to be there very Saturday, which is sometimes difficult because we don't get any full weekends together.  The nice thing is that he does get a random day off during the week.  Sometimes it's Wednesdays, sometimes it's Thursdays, etc.  So that's a nice "break" in the middle of the work-week.

I am doing a few things... I am an Office Assistant for Andrea Andrews for about 10 hours a week.  She is a Mary Kay Director here in Kernersville.  She drives a pink Cadillac, and her business is booming.  I love working with Andrea.  Being in her office allows me to keep a foot in the Mary Kay door, which I still enjoy, and she's a great friend, so it's alot of fun!

I clean houses about 15 hours each week.  I never would have thought that I would be cleaning houses, but I REALLY enjoy it!  I have about 10 houses that I clean on a regular basis, and I'm looking for a few more.  The pay is great, and the schedule is reliable.

I also write for an online lesson-planning company about 5 hours each week, which allows me to use my English degree and scratch my "writing itch."

Aside from work, we spend alot of time with our church family.  The people at 1.21 Church have become family to us, and we love being with them.  I'll post more about 1.21 later- they deserve an entire post!

By the time we see our other friends and both our families regularly, our schedules stay pretty packed.  But we are so thankful for the ways God has blessed us.  We have good jobs, great families, and a great church family.  So as crazy as life sometimes gets, the rewards are so worth it.
