Asia!

On November 20th, Dustin is traveling to Asia for a Mission Trip.  He's taken two trips to Ecuador with Tim Bunn, and those trips were instrumental in changing the way we think about missions.  When Dustin told Tim that we were planning to sell everything and start taking missionary journeys, Tim suggested that Dustin travel with him to Asia this year for a little more hands-on experience and in-depth training.

One of our pastors will also be going on the trip. Dustin is thrilled that he will get to experience this with Stephen.  This is a part of the world that Dustin and I have never seen before.  While I am really nervous about him being on the other side of the globe for three whole weeks, I am so excited that he gets to be a part of what  God is doing in Asia.


PLEASE PRAY!
We are praising God that all the money has been provided in order for this trip to happen.  It is not an inexpensive journey, and we needed $3,000 so that it could happen.  Thanks to the generosity of so many friends and family members, the financial side is completely covered!

Please pray that hearts would be prepared for this trip... Pray for Dustin, Tim, and Stephen (and a few others going with them) to be focused on Jesus during the trip.  Pray that the people they will be meeting will hear from God through these guys. 

Please pray for their safety!  They will be in the air for over 30 hours each way.  Some of the countries they will visit carry some safety risks.  There are also health risks involved.  We know that God is the ultimate Warrior and Protector, so they are in great hands.

Please pray that I will trust Jesus and not be too worried.  Besides the fact that he'll be across the world, Dustin and I have never been apart longer than 10 days, and this trip will be 21 days.  I am not looking forward to the time apart, but I am already looking forward to picking him up at the airport when he gets back!!
